15 October 2025 On 1 November, the Southern Forests is set to celebrate the inaugural Pemberton Avocado Festival , showcasing the best of local avocados and the people who produce them. Western Australia holds the title of the nation’s largest avocado-producing state — and with Pemberton responsible for 21% of national production, the Southern Forests region is the perfect place to celebrate all things avocado.
